CFCs are a catalyst for ozone, that's not a "green fantasy" that's a fact of chemistry. I know you feel like a victim because you have to pay a little more for a medicine that works exactly the same just so other people don't get skin cancer, but you're really just acting like a self-centered child. It means the product does not contain ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons. By the way, CFCs are banned in the US now, so everything that a consumer gets is CFC free.

CFC is an abreviation for chloroflurocarbon [maybe spelt incorrectly] CFCs are responsible for destroying the ozone layer and very bad for the planet..... so CFC free means that it is environmentaly friendly.

the CFC is a type of propellant used in the like of hairspary and airfreshener. CFC is damaging to the 'O' zone, so CFC free is better for the atmosphere
