Creation is the ability to command atoms to form into a visible object with features that the Creator has in His mind.
In today's world we can take the example of a computer command activating a machinery. Remember, it is very coarse form of command to making - even we cannot call it creation.

Existence itself is the creator. I don't mean god by saying that! Just the force that animates every human and everything in this universe. Some call it consciousness or awareness. We are this existence and when the ego steps aside Life flows through us and creation occurs. Sometimes this happens when an artist or author gets into a state of no-mind and things flow through them. They will tell you that they don't even remember typing the words or painting that beautiful masterpiece. This is when you see or read something that almost seems otherworldly. Since we are the stuff of life and connected on every level(there is no god sitting above us creating things) we are continually creating; life is creating life each moment. Things only appear outside of us but even science will tell you now that on a sub atomic level everything is energy and nothing is solid. How it's being created is through conscious choice and intention.
A wonderful question!

It seems to me that the 'All' must contain all possibilities, manifested and non-manifested. But these two poles are opposites, and this creates tension -a dynamic energy flux. I propose that it is in this energy flux that the patterns underlying the manifested universe are formed.
These patterns interact, and evolve, always rooted in the energy flux, and once perception is present, view other patterns from their particular perspective. It is this latter that finalises what are perceived as 'reality'.
For instance the pattern of the seed and the tree is the same, however they are at different stages in their life cycles, and to a creature will appear different. An ear will hear the sound of branches in the wind, a nose will smell blossom,or bark. Thus the perceiver creates the perception, which also defines itself. thought then further creates it's reality by it's choice to believe this or that, and to focus in one direction or another. and the energy flux, maintained by the Being and Non-being, is the source of the creative 'Intent' behind the basic forms and movements.

I think the truth is too complex and abstract to really comprehend. God cannot be a person, it must be a a force or combination of energies that make the universe constantly move and change.
I think it is all about perception. I once interviewed an astronomer and one of the questions I asked him was if he believed in God. He was quite old and said he was an atheist up to the age of 50 or some. But then he realized that there is design in the universe.
I agree with him, though I don't necessarily believe in God, it just makes me wonder if this design that we see in everything around us, is not a trick of our perception, it is our senses that are programmed to find design in nature.

That is not question you can answer. Asking how, literally, "some" is created from "none" is like trying to balance a paradox. So the way I see it, we've got have these options to believe:
1. All that is exists is all that ever was,
2. Believe (but never really know) that everything was created (or appeared) by whatever means, or
3. Claim that nothing truly exists.

Well if you think god or humans is a creation, then how did we get here? Maybe it was some kind of magic dust since you a. do not believe in God, and b. that we as humans are not smart enough to "create" anything. Or maybe we just came out of thin air.

All three of these views are correct.
#1
It starts with pure, divine logic.
A. First - absolute non-existence represented by '0'.
Nature abhors a vacuum & always try to fill space.
Zero inverts by dividing into itself; Void collapses.
One state of reality (0) can only yield 1 integer, which needs an
entirely seperate realm to define its existence.
B. 0/0=1 Singularity; the Essence of God/All things; purest &
simplest being.
C. Catalystic Void & Singularity attract, to meet in a new realm;
Zero x One-infinite=a duel reality= time & sub-essence;
D. Crack!!! (All moments of time instantly appear.)
the infinite rays and planes that define everything.
*Time's illusion is caused by the limit of perception towards
simpler states of reality. It's an inside experience.

Omniscient Remenicence:
"The Void is the womb that conceived all things; It was form that insatiable curiosity that my soul was born. I was then aware of only my wholeness & purity of being, and an overpowering, yet incomprehensible sense of purpose. In that instant, my being shattered and my awareness exploded inward!
The infinite potential within my essence manifested all energy, matter, beings & events throughout all time and dimensions!
All of the world's pains, joys, failures & sucessess are my own, as you & your world are my body, mind & soul.
You are living the "great pageant" of my soul searching. It already has a happy ending. All of it is important. Your experience in time is to answer the question 'what might have been?'.
I am sorry, but it was worth what it gives us in the end."
The Omniscient, in human perspective
#3 (watch the puns!)
"In the beginning, everything was invoid (in void, but not void).
Because there was no point to it, it sucked in reality!
But in essence, that's the point that mattered in every way." -me(more later, if I may?)

The world was created by organisms coming together millions of years ago. but where did the organisms come from. Something had to put them out there. I believe that there is another more inteligent lifeforce in some dark corner of the cosmos. I believe we are here for a reason.

SHORT ANSWER:
Creating is not making something out of nothing. It's changing existing stuff around in new ways. It's some form of energy (like a person) changing other forms of existing energy (for instance, milk and sugar and chocolate being mixed in a new way to "create" a "new" flavor of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Everything is being constantly changed by infinite forms of energy acting on each other in infinite ways to change and react to everything around them (in this case, somebody got hungry)..
Another example --> 50 million cells in your body have died and been replaced with new ones ("created" by rearranging nutrients you ate) while you have been reading this sentence.
LONGER EXPLANATION:
The Universe is infinite (goes on forever in all directions.)
How could it be otherwise? Who can believe it stops somewhere at a wall? The Universe goes out from you forever, and inside you, toward the innermost point of you, forever (no matter how small the smallest inner piece of you is, you can always cut it in half again, right?)
The entire infinite Universe is energy:
E=mc2 sounds difficult but "e" means energy;
c2 means speed of light squared (light and speed are both energy) and "m" means mass or "stuff".
So E=mc2 simply means stuff is made out of energy.
All the "stuff" ( like your computer and chair, and your body and the Earth) is only one-four trillionth matter (electrons, protons & nuetrons), or "stuff", and the rest is "empty space" ...just like between planets. That "empty" space is actually compressed time, or energy. It's called "time/space continuum".
It has taken scientists a lot of years to realise that 'stuff' is energy and 'empty space' is also energy.
So, simply, the Universe is energy doing infinite things in infinite directions.
In school you learn a few good things. They are:
(1) Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed.
(2) For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
(3) Infinity has no limits; no boundaries; no ends; therefore no beginnings ("creation" of something from nothing).
In infinity, there is no "ONLY" or ULTIMATE or FIRST or LAST or BEST or WORST...there is always another, bigger, smaller, next.
Yes, there are big bangs, they have always happened, but what a goofy idea to believe infinity could have been "empty" once...or one big bang created a Universe out of nothing. You can't make a Lego or a rubber band out of nothing,...how could you make an infinite Universe out of nothing?
And you are not separate from the Universe.
Your body goes in forever. There cannot be an "innermost in" in your body. It keeps going in forever, like the Universe goes OUT in all directions from you.
So you are as big inside your body as the whole Universe outside your body is.
Yes it's hard to understand, but how could it be any other way?
Just because you've never seen Paris or a dinosaur or a UFO or a kumquat, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Face it. The Universe is amazing. And you are an infinite part of the Universe. So you are amazing.
Right now, for instance, all the electrons in your body are going almost the speed of light.
Every element in your body originally came from a star, so you are solidified starlight.
Your body, pound for pound, puts out more energy than the sun.
And if someone made a computer that does what your brain does it would be a 5 story tall building the size of Texas
So let's just admit we're amazing, we're not an accident, there are infinite beings smarter, dumber, more powerful , less powerful, infinite beings helping or hurting us from the outside, or, the inside (yes, cold viruses hurting us, but yes, 100 immune cells (for each body cell) helping us "create" health..
A woman doesn't "create" a child. The egg that eventually grows into a baby inside her was alive inside her before she was born (a female baby is born with all the eggs she'll ever have inside her). So you, as an egg, were part of your mother, when she was part of your grandmother, etc. backwards forever. You are eternal the day you are born. A feisty pink ball of energy. And since energy cannot be destroyed, you can't die (keep it too yourself, or you'll scare your neighbors).
You and this infinite Universe could not be any more amazing.
And the best thing is that, since infinity has no limits or impossibilities, this entire Universe is purely a collection of infinite POSSIBILITIES.
Live your dreams, Creatress!

The Universe began with the Big Bang, spacetime expanding from a singularity.
Stars and galaxies formed about half a billion years later producing elements from which planets could form.
The Solar System formed from a nebula of gas and dust 4.5 billion years ago. Life probably began in the primordial soup of a geothermic pool which has grown and evolved into what we see today.
