I don't understand why anyone would have any kind of problem with Al Gore. He is decent, hardworking and honest and knows correct grammar (does not say aint).
He is smart and has made an effort to make this world a better place for now and for future generations. Anybody would any sense of decency and any intelligence knows this man is a good man that cares about something other than money and power and the wealthy elite.
He is not putting his time and effort into the most wealthy oil barons here and in Saudi and Irag as George Bush is doing.

While there is a movement underfoot to get him to run, I don't think he wants to put himself or his family through that political cesspool again. His focus seems to be on environmental issues, such as global warming, the ozone layer, and recycling. which are far more important than sleazy politics. Mr. Gore appears to be far too civil, decent, and honorable to stoop down into the stench of what politics has become, just in the few years since he was Vice-President. -RKO-

I don't think Gore will run. He hates campaigning and isn't very good at it. It's a shame. Gore's probably the most qualified.

Even if he rebutes his earlier statements denying that he will run, I don't think he will win simply because of the way he handled the election this past term.
