How do you keep your humility?

I am having a problem with maintaining my humility...I am working on it, but today, a lady set off my haughty nature....

How do you maintain your humility?

Difficult people provide you with valuable practice for becoming a better person. As they come along, remind yourself that they way they act because they really do not understand any better way.

Each time you fail to interact with them gracefully, you know what not to do in the future. Learning to live with more personal grace is a gradual process with leaps forward and slides backward, but if you try a little bit each time, the results can be astonishing over the years.

Oh yes, and don't beat yourself up if you lost it. If applicable, you can apologize to the woman for losing your temper, and see if she is able to act as a better person also.

I don't bother anymore. Nobody else seems to control their haughty nature, so I just deal it back to them. You are actually very normal. Don't worry; if you get to haughty, there is always someone out there to bring you back down to earth (kinda hard sometimes too). The humble tend to become doormats and stepping stones for the advancement of everyone else. They are far better people than I. As long as you don't have false humility, I generally won't have a problem with you. False humility really grinds my organ!!

I read a great book, I listen to a classic piece of music or the lyrics to a beautiful song, a gorgeous voice, look at a picture of Charlieze Theron.....hey, I'm beset by my own humility everyday!

Rely on God though once in a while we are all loose it.some people can really make you go over board but relying on God is the best.
