Go to a dermatologist. They will be able to prescribe something that you can't buy over the counter. If you don't have insurance it is worth the money. You do not want scars on your face...

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

do u wear make up? that causes acne to get worse so dont wear make up fro like a week or 2 and get some good over the counter treatments like clean and clear facewash or whatever u think will work, but if u dont wear make up or that doesnt help,it could be your allergic to what medicine you might already be using,or even your diet and sleep cycles.ive noticed that i usually break out when i use oxi pads because im allergic to them and if i stay up too late i get a pmple or 2 sometimes.but i use those medicines too and they help me usually (wish i had some now ) but dont go to extremes like pro active just off the bat try other things and even see a dermatologist if u have too and have him/her see what could be the problem and if he/she can fix it.it could even be something else because usually some acne is caused by hormone changes thats why it usually happens to teenagers like if.....i no this might sound a lil personal but if ur pregnant or taking birth control or estrogen supplements that might cause it too.proactive is a little extreme cause a rough rule of thumb is that if u see something on tv for sale it usually doesnt work at least in my experiences.also getting rid of all the oils on your face actually can cause blemishes because it will dry out your skin and thats not good.there are hydrating lotons that will help u to retain the moisture without causing acne and some actually help to decrease the amount of acne on your face.oh and before i forget if u pop your zits with your fingernails, stop, there are germs in your fingernails that could cause the zits to get infected and will spread the acne all over your face neck and sometimes chest or other parts of your body.

Try vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid).
The most publicized benefit of pantothenic acid supplementation is acne reduction. This is based solely on the many writings of Lit-Hung Leung, M.D., that espouse the many benefits of pantothenic acid. His acne-reduction hypothesisis is based on numerous faulty and outdated assumptions. His basic idea is that synthesis of androgens and hormones as well as fatty acid metabolism "uses up" CoA, which disallows it from metabolizing the lipids in the skin that are responsible for acne. One of his supporting claims is that exogenous androgen administration does not result in acne, and this is not the case. Many of the other ideas on which his hypothesis is based are equally erroneous. However, the hypothesis may have at least some merit, in that elevated CoA may accelerate the breakdown of skin oils that play a role in the etiology of acne.
Despite the faulty assumptions at the base of the hypothesis, many supplement companies glorified it and this lead to the widespread use of pantothenic acid for acne reduction. Additionally, Dr. Leung did a study in which large doses of pantothenic acid were administered to 100 Chinese individuals, largely between ages 13 and 23, with significant results. However, this study also involved combined treatment with B5 cream (which many proponents neglect to mention) and was also not controlled. Study conclusions, such as "more beautiful skin," also call the scientific merit into question.
Despite all of these objections, the overwhelming amount of positive user feedback on message boards and non-commercial websites leads one to believe that there may be something to this claim. Indeed, there are many other theoretical reasons in support of this idea. For one, acne is an inflammatory condition, and pantothenic acid has a pronounced antiinflammatory effect in skin tissue, even after oral administration to humans. Pantothenic acid also increases the level of zinc in injured and inflamed skin, and there is a wide research base indicating that zinc causes significant acne reduction both orally and topically. Pantothenic acid also effectively metabolizes many toxins, some of which may possibly play a role in the formation of acne. These effects, along with the possibility of accelerated lipid breakdown, provide a good theoretical basis for the effects which are commonly reported.

Wash your face in the morning and then again in the night. You could also go to a dermatologist. If you wanted you could get a facial--I did and it really helped. Facials aren't very expensive. Mine was only 45 dollars at Avalon Salon. I'm planning to get another one soon. Well,, good luck! :)

If your skin is oily, you can apply tomatoes to your face. It counters oily skin by absorbing surplus oil and also helps get rid of pimples and acne. Apply undiluted tomato paste to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm, not hot, water.
Good luck hun xx
