Any body's proposal to bring about peace in the region can do only so much, it just so happened that Bill had his inititives, but nevertheless, everything is up to the warring factions. One crazy hamas fanatic could start the world war 3. The realities of war and conflict in that region cannot be resoves by anyone's simple proposal. It is very clear now that Hezbollah have shipped in hundreds of missiles to the northern Lebanese border. This violates the agreemnent the lebanese military would guard the borders; the hezbollah extremeist were allowed by Lebanon to do just that. All Lebanese airfields were used in shipping military hardware for Hezbollah. Clinton cannot be there to impose his proposal!!! These is war between civilizations!!! Why blame Bill?

Uh...Under Clinton's administration times were relatively peaceful. The foreign policy disasters have all occurred under Bush.

Do you recall that he began his administration by saying that he wasn't going to get involved. Support of an Israeli state is vital and no progress can be made without the recognition of said state by Arabs.

I just get so pissed about this whole issue because both sides behave like kids on a playground while innocent people die. What was mostly "skirmishes" appears now to have become a full scale war.
