I was always told, "when it's time for college..." Well, when it came time for college, there was not enough money and my parents made "too much" for me to qualify for loans. So, no college for me until I went to community college and a vocational school while working a full-time job. At my age, I'm still making what I was making a decade ago and still planning to finish my degree. It's taking a lot more time than I ever realized. I've put off marriage, kids, vacations just to devote time to my life before starting a new life. I was always told you can do anything if you put your mind to it and they should've said you can do anything if you put your wallet to it.

I have had so many opportunities, I have to pinch myself sometimes. Being the head photographer and sometime writer for a newspaper got me into a lot of other parties and events I would have never gotten in to, had it not been for my job!
Three years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and my life took another turn. For the worse. But I can see the light at the edge of the tunnel and hope to be better real soon.

Way different!I really thought I could persue my dreams but lack of funds for the education made it impossible..and I pictured kids and grandkids..didnt happen due to a physical condition..just as well though as I dont have much patience for kids anyway..so yah made a few adjustments thru life and I am content with this life I have dealt with..=)

Ummmmm let me count the ways:
I'm not a wealthy writer
I don't have a good rack or figure
I decided not to get married or have kids
I don't have a huge house by the ocean
My job sucks
Gee now I'm depressed. Oh yeah...never thought I'd be on antidepressants either.

I thought I would be the first one in my family to have kids get married because i'm the shy one that never went out that much. And now all most all of my cousin and my brother are married and have kids. I also thought I would be the one not to go to college and everyone else in my family would. And i'm the only one going to college all most every one else in my family dropped out and got married.

I'm still single. I still can't afford a passport and plane ticket, to go out of country. I still can't afford to buy a house. I'm still looking for a job. I thought for sure, I'd at least have a job and a gf, by the beginging of this year.
