It kinda sux dont it?! But thats part of life's long learning curve. We all have to go through it. And the sad part is after youve done tons of good things in your life..people only remember you for the bad things. Just like you said. eg: Zidane - FIFA might actually take back the best player award from him if its proven he broke football ethics - and thats according to Blatter.Sad but hey....maybe this is where we have to learn from our big mistakes.

The older one gets..the wiser one becomes ( hopefully? )..and when you look back at all the things good and bad youve done in your life.....it can sometimes bring about a smile or a tear ...its amazing.

Im 44 now and I am already having a long look at what I have gone through so far in my life...and I think Ive learnt a hell of alot. But Im still making mistakes....and still learning....and trying my level best to rectify them...in order to live a happier and more fullfilling life.

And hopefully contribute more good to others, my family, my children from what Ive learnt.

Hopefully my legacy will have more good things than bad?

It's Zidane not Jidan.

one possibility is that the brain seems to have a penchant for being rather "negative"' generally, in a number of its functions. have you ever noticed how critical it is of others and ourselves, for example?. i don't have the backgroud for offering a definitive scientific opinion. but, i have noticed that if you meditate alot, that negative bias tends to diminish.

Thats because we like to learn from our mistakes and advance.
