Like when you go in public and you want to impress somebody by your looks.Wouldnt you want to make a good first impression.

First impressions are everything. I don't think you really need to 'dress up', but definitely look professional. You never know who you're going to run into.

Sorry, I don't give a damn what anyone thinks of my looks. I am not in this world to impress anyone. A good first impression is only for con artists. Just because a person is slouchy does not mean that they don't care about themselves. Whatever happened to "live & let live?" What do people think when they look at you? Are you the shining example that we should ALL be following? I think not!

You can look how you want to in public but if you do want to impress someone dress up.

If you can't accept yourself for who you are, you're going to end upfeeling like a fake person. To me, it depends, sometimes, a person wants to or feel like looking good to impress people, but it's impossible for anyone to feel that way. Some people just want to be comfortable and be accepted for who they are, no matter how they dress.
It's up to you if you want live your life pleasing others or pleasing yourself.

if your going out in public for a long time then look decent
but if your just going to put gas in your car then you can look slouchy.

How you appear in public is how the people judge your character and is also an indication to them how you feel about yourself.
I also ways admire a neatly dressed person, even in casual clothes. This person has self respect!
A slob is a slob in more ways than one.

when you go out in public, always look as presentable as possible. if you are trying to impress someone you need to dress your best to progress.

If im just goin up town for a few minutes then i just usually wear basketball shorts and a tee shirt but if im gonna be there for a while a like looked nice.

You should care how you look in public, if you don't then people think that you just have no care for yourself or have no self respect.
