What is the best program to use to download music online? I use Limewire and it is terrible.?

I had limewire and i downloaded a few songs its messed up my computer. So i got ares and its excellent. Songs download very fast and free. If you decide to use ares let me know so i can give you a few tips like faster downloaded and doest make ur computer slower. [e-mail] is my e-mail

I use bearshare. You can get it from Cnet.com, it works really well. It has two options available, the free one (which i have) and the pro (which you have to pay for) But, so far i've found every song i've ever looked for. and if you have dsl they download really quickly. you can also preview the music (after it's partially downloaded) directly from the program.
the only thing i don't like about it is that it has a sister program or whatever that piggy backs its way onto your computer (it's called save, so every time you google "skirt" or whatever it will pop up a coupon for a skirt.. but, you can control, alt, delete and go to your processes and scroll down to save and end the process. It sucks that you have to do that, but after awhile you get used to it. it's easier to do that than have to continuously "x" out of the little coupon boxes.

Use LimeWire Pro. If you don't wanna pay for it, then download it as a torrent, or contact someone who has already paid for it, and is willing to give you a copy of the install files!

iTunes, if you want to go Legally, I have no clue what your talking about Limewire works great...unless you want to use Kazza which is filled with viruses.

use firefox download manager.
