Drastic moves are usually life defining decisions. It could go either way, that's why it is a risk. If you've thought about it thoroughly and there's more positive outcomes than negative outcomes, then go ahead with it. If you feel very strongly it's better to try than to wonder about it for the rest of your life.

Before you take a decision you should clearly understand drastic move or your own definition of drastic move and what do you have the best at present.
Statistics shows nearly 95% of our problems are due to the fact that we could not identify the problem and try to solve it in a problem oriented way rather than a solution oriented way.
So take a pen write down your problem. Write all the possible solutions along with there advantages and disadvantages. CHOOSE the best one.
