I am looking for super cheap shirts in bulk, latex paint or other fabrick paints, and heavy stencil plastic. If any one knows where I could come across these things for super cheap I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I am looking for advice for starting up a small business. What should I look out for, what are some of the hassles when starting out, what were some fall backs but also what were some of your successes? Give me your wisdom! Thanks guys!

I think you should research sites such as alibaba.com, .These sites have registered and accredited members offering a wide range in the products you are interested in.
The countries you should target are china, india, bangladesh, egypt. You can call their embassies here and speak with their commercial attaches who would readily give you the information you need regarding the manufacturer.
Try not to buy from a trader as he would be adding his margins too, go straight to the manufacturer.
Be careful to add shipping costs, custom charges, duties, levies, ground transportation, storage, demurrage etc to your final cost.
Insist on signing a buy-sell agreement under ICC terms.
Start small, get samples, insist on quality, know your customers likes and preferences and you should be good to roll.
As for the pitfalls they exist in any business!
