Yea 256MB is pretty low. With 256, you will be able to barely open 3 programs, especially if they are big programs that use a lot of memory.

I would get at LEAST 512MB, but 1 gig would be a lot better. You will be able to open any number of programs you want with 1 gig.

Go to http://www.4allmemory.com and enter your computer system info. The site will tell you exactly how much ram your computer can take and the exact ram your computer needs. Its the cheapest ram purchasing site I know and I never had any problems with them.

256 is probably the minimum you should use for Win XP. If you are going to use Photoshop and other graphics software, then I would upgrade to 512 at least. You would really be better off with a gig. Good luck!

The most important thing you can do to speed up a PC is to max out the RAM!

If you only have 256Mb and running XP, you are below minimum!

Minimum (for decent speed) is really 512Mb, recommended is 1Gb, and the more the better!!

acceptable SD and micro SD might want to all artwork high quality (providing you've the mSD adapter). regardless of the indisputable fact that some card readers are slightly fussy with SDHCs, i have had a minimum of two circumstances even as the computer purely did not understand an SDHC card, to my wide inflammation.
