But in terms of now - the ever-present now - it is always happening. And it is the only thing that matters.

It is always now. It is a flicker of a moment. But in a continuous sense. At the moment my fingers touch the keyboard, it is now. Immediately after it becomes a then. So we are in the process of now-then, now-then, now-then... the then gets longer and longer and it becomes history.
