As Oscar Wilde once said 'youth is wasted on the young'. When you reach 40 you realise what life is all about, unfortunately its too late. Generally we only have young sports people and old politicians. 'Life begins at forty' is a complete load of bull, life begins to terrify you more like. To those of you yet to reach 40 beware, start praying for ageing cures. Its just a long slow death from then on.

For the young health and education to become a responsible adult. Then to be a good parent and help your children with there
health and education. But enjoy 40's because when you hit 50
the body starts a long slow process of atrophy that you don't notice. The new job of grand parent is taking all your time.

We are living to see what is out in the world so we know what to look for at 40.

To learn how to live life the correct way and age enough to get hammered and know how to prevent a hang over! There is also the money aspect! we have more the older we get therefore allowing us to enjoy more things life has to offer! Gee did I say that I need a job!

gettng as smashed as possible and forgeting that one day you'll be 40. i should know, i'm still getting happily smashed and untill today, when my mother phoned, i'd forgotten that i am 39 this monday. a little bit more practice and by this time next year i wont know where the hell i am

I don't know what idiot started this phrase.
We all know that life is just too short, but we continue to define ourselves with a "number"...no matter if your 10 or 100, it's best to enjoy each day..cause you just never know..
