For one, sanctions are something the UN has to decide. Secondly, Lebanon crossed into Israel, took hostages, and basically provoked Israel. How is that against the Geneva convention when they are defending themselves?

Israel has put up with enough! These scumbag "palestinians" and Syrians deserve everything they get. You seem to forget that the GC's only apply to a war between nations. During WWII all sides abandoned the pretense of the rules of war because everyone knew the very survival of the nations were at stake. Consequently both sides bombed civilians and infrastructure. This is the case in Israel, if they keep letting this Muslim Jihadies kill them, they will fall as a nation.
Think about it for a second. If someone came up to you and started a fight, you would try and kick their butt, right? How about if they came into your house and tried to kill your children and wife, and they weren't going to stop after being knocked down? Would you only try and kick their butt, or would you completely take them out? I think if you are honest, you will see that when it gets to a certain point, all bets and rules are off. Most of these countries that are condemning Israel (Europe) did the exact same thing 60 years ago when it was them or the Nazis. The Nazis didn't negotiate and neither do Muslims. Israel needs to rid itself of this problem once and for all!

Source? I don't see how the Geneva convention relates to these attacks.
Israel was attacked by Lebanon, in case you haven't noticed. Therefore, it has every right to respond.

Yes I believe so... Yet it is written in the protocols of the elders of Zion that there are the Jews(Human) and the rest of humanity are animals... simply put the jews don't believe that anyone but themseles deserve human rights... ask Adam J. Rosenberg(a jew whose related to ethel and julius rosenberg as well as alfred rosenberg so treachery is a family affair) why he set his friend up to take the fall...

certain, Hamas has dedicated crimes of terror. they have also violated Geneva convention. yet so has Israel. as a thanks to respond to your question, that's as a results of ongoing systematic exodus of Palestinians from lands claimed with the help of Israel. also, Israels a u . s . a ., so that's extra shameful.

Since when have Arabs followed the Geneva Conventions?
How about their fighters wearing uniforms for starters, and not holing themselves up in civilian areas.
Anti-Semitism is when you try placing wildly unreasonable demands on Jews. Espcially Jews fighting for their very survival.

Compared to its neighbors who has so much prejudice and hatred against Isreal, Isreal is doing its best to defend itself with most civil efforts. It has to do this since it has reached its limit.
