Money can't buy happiness....but being poor can be stressful as well. Actually I am blessed, I am FAR from rich, but I have everything I need. I am blessed to live in a wonderful country that is free, I have a job I like a car that runs, a roof over my head and clothes and even a few luxuries. Money is over-rated...

All the money in the world would make me happy but if I just had a few thousand dollars I would be more than satisfied.

Money's connection to happiness is not as simple as it might seem. Obviously not having enough to live on is a problem, but once you've got enough to live on, having more has only a moderate effect on happiness, and can even be counterproductive.

If I had to put a number on it, I'd say about $35,000/yr. Of course that will vary depending on the cost of living in your area.

For me, money is not equal to happiness. If I had people that I loved around me and I lived a life that I loved, then I would be truly happy. :)

The ability to do the things I need and not have to worry - ever - about money. I am not sure if there is an amount there but I am sure being a millionaire would make it happen.

I think because I am already happy enough with my present situation, a couple billion to start a foundation and build a house for foster kids to vacation in would be enough. I would go on a Paris shopping spree, but I wouldn't have to have private jet or a huge mansion to make me happy.

I grew up poor, and now I have a fair amount of money to support myself and have a good life with an apartment and a boyfriend, and a good paying job. Let me tell you, even though it was hard being poor, it was harder because my family was not close at all. I have more money now, but doesn't make me happier. what makes me happier is that I feel that I am loved and supported. No amount of money can do that.
