I am not french but I believe that France deserved that world cup.
I am extremely disappointed with how Mattarazi played that game - driving Zidane out of the game by "dissing" his mom and sister. How childish and stupid! I will never support Italian team ever again.

Just to let you know, Italian team lost majority of its fans around the globe. You should check out other websites and find out what people around the globe are saying about Italian players.
And isn't it sad that most of us don't give a sh*t that Italy won?

I do. I think France was the best team in the World Cup 2006. They worked their *** off. I'm not saying Italy isn't good as well, because they did make it to the final. But the Italian players had to provoke France to win the game. The Italians wanted to go the penalty kicks and they did that's why they won. But the real good team is FRANCE. FRANCE ROCKS!!!!!

Not me, they are a bunch of crybabies and losers, how got a kick they didn't deserve, and their captain couldn't control his temper at a crucial moment in the game. Those insults are standard fare in sports unfortunately. Mr ego couldn't take it. His apology would make a congressman proud. I especially liked the part about the children apology and how he was "deeply hurt" by the comments some guy gave while busting his balls in a game.
Next time someone pisses you off at work try headbutting them and see what happens. Gimme a break!

I think France SUCKS as a country but I do have respect for their national team after the World Cup final. What makes me laugh is that there are barely any FRENCH players on their team--just AFRICANS!!!
BTW--for the person on top of me...NEWSFLASH...the Italian national team and Italians don't need your support!!!
