This is assisted suicide, similar to lethal injection. A person who has become terminally ill, with a disease, or condition which causes them constant pain, for which there is no cure. Should they be able to seek out an alternative to a life lived in suffering? What are your thoughts and opinions on assisted suicide? Please keep in mind that I am not advocating suicide. I am simply keeping an open mind, to the idea that someone who is suffering should be in control of their life, and death.

Yes. In instances where the patient is terminally ill they should be able to end their life with the assistance of their physician.
If all hope of recovery is gone, why subject themselves needlessly to the agony and pain waiting for the illness to ultimately end their life? It provides a painless and humane way to end their suffering with dignity.

Vets are required to finish that in some circumstances, does that propose animals have extra rights than human beings. I ought to be allowed. yet there muat also be a era of time allowed, say six months or a 12 months, between the decision and the act, to allow for the very shown truth that the decision ought to were made in the nice and comfy temperature of the instantaneous and became no longer the authentic favor of the affected man or woman.

Yes, no one should be made to suffer. Being terminally ill has got to be just like sitting on death row in prison. Except being on death row sometimes is not as it seems, they still get collage degrees and work out int the local gym, and of course they are not usually so sick they can't hold their head up.

yes i think someone should be allowed to die in peace and dignity, whether they have a terminal illness or not. but especially so if they are suffering, utterly miserable, in terrible pain, and have no wish to occupy the body which has become a terrible prison.

Why limit it to the terminally ill? There are a lot of people that find life very painful, so why should they be denied peace.?

I think it should be available. We, as pet owners won't let a beloved animal suffer if we know they are in pain and terminal, so why should we have to have to endure that as humans?

For Buddhists, you should never commit suicide or assist suicide. May be you can starve yourself if you are so much in pain.

I'm a christian and I believe that God can heal. But everybodies faith is not there. And I hate to see people suffer. But if it was legal a lot people could die unnessarly
So I'm undecided.

Yes, people should have options in terminating their lives if they are physically unable to do so themselves.
