Thou shalt not steal.
Love your neighbor as yourself.

That being said- if it was a Robin Hood scenario, and the person was evil, I'd liberate the money and put it to a good cause.

I'd love to have a few million to live a Bruce Wayne kind of life- using wealth and power to make a positive difference in the world (not necessarily dressing up as a giant bat). :)

I'm glad to see there's so many people here who would do the right thing!

I am amazed at the ethics of the folks in here! Some you youguys are really deep!!! Come on!! $1 Million? I think I might think about that. I agree that I may feel guilty, but it would sure make life a lot easier!!

Good one yooperpooper! Thanks for the laugh...seriously...you single and into guys??? Just kidding.

I couldn't enjoy the money with all the guilt I would feel. If I find a $20 bill in a grocery store, I take it up to Customer Service. That's why I'm destined to live a middle-class life...but I'll do it with a clean conscience!

Are we talking before or after taxes? In order to have a million dollars in your hands in Montana you would have to steal about 1.8 million in order to pay federal and state taxes so you wouldn't get in trouble with the IRS or Dept of Revenue.

Anybody who wil steal a nickel, will steal a million. Human nature, remember? The trick is not to give in.

well, if given the parameter that I could in fact get away with it, and asuming nobody would know I had it, I would be more than happy to relieve you of a cool million. I would also be happy to spend it for you too and live and die a happy man.

You bet. People like Kenneth Lay do it all the time and get away with it. Why not one of us regular working people?

You can never get away with something that is not yours .Sooner or later u'ii have to pay it back or pay for it. So no point playing a lost game.
