It really varies for each person. Normally once you stop the pill it will take 3-4 months for you to be fertile again. Yet, in some cases you can get pregnant right away. I just got off the pill and talked with my obygyn and since I was having pains in my lower abdomen and stuff she said that with the dates I gave her that I had ovulated just like normal after I got off the pill. Which, she told me, is very rare in people who stop the pill. She said I will have no problem getting pregnant and should be pregnant this month if I have sex each day for two days before I ovluate and the day of ovulating. Like I said, she told me it was rare, but it does happen. I just happen to come from a very fertile family (my grandma comes from a family of 17, and that's just the kids) Also my father is a twin as well as My Grandmother, so I think that I have high chances of getting pregnant quickly. Just remember that you MAY NOT get pregnant right away but it is safe to just stop the pill and go ahead and try right away. Just try not to be dissapointed if you don't get pregnant right away. If you are younger than the age of 30, usually doctors won't do anything unless you have tried for over a year. So just be persistant and have FUN, isn't that what sex is all about? Don't stress and if it's meant to happen it WILL. Stress can also prevent you from getting pregnant so keep that in mind as well. Wear your sexiest night-gown and light some candles and have some fun.
I've researched this a TON and have talked to my Doctor.

It varies from person to person. A lot of things can make a difference, such as if you or your partner smoke or of you're overweight. I stopped the Pill two months ago and found out today that I'm pregnant. It took my friend 9 months to conceive after she stopped, but she lost the baby early on. Just don't let it take over your life, take each day as it comes. Try not to be too disappointed when your period comes. Have some fun trying to get pregnant and enjoy yourself! I'm sending some baby luck your way! (waft, waft!)

You could conceive within a week or two, but I recommend taking smaller doses (.5 a pill, .25 a pill, etc) so your hormones don't go completely haywire. keep reducing your dose for about 3 days, the come off completely. Then, play some soft music, light some candles......

It took my partner and I 4 months to concieve after I came off the pill, but it depends on you and your cycles getting back to normal.
What I will say is don't have unprotected sex straight away, and wait for your first true period and you have a cycle you recognise (not the pill free week bleeding) before you both start going at it like rabbits because it can play havoc with finding your EDD when you do get preggers!

You can start trying to get pregnant as soon as you stop the pill. It's both possible and safe. The hormones from the pill leave your body as soon as you stop taking it. Though it may take several months for your body to readjust and start ovulating again, no adverse pregnancy outcome is to be expected if you get pregnant quickly. Studies have shown that women who get pregnant right after stopping the pill have the same chance of delivering healthy babies when compared with women who waited several months.

there isn't an average of how long it will take . . everyone is different - some people will become pregnant the first month after . . some more than a year . . . chart your periods and ovulation (you can get a home ovulation predictor at the drug store or get a basal body temperature thermometer and track that) . . the fun is in the trying . . good luck

It takes about 30 hrs for the homones to leave your body after the last pill you take. After that it is completely up to your body!! your body will have to function on itself. I got pregnant the first month I got off the pill and I took it for 6.5 years. I recommend you to start taking prenatal vitamins right now.

you can conceive quite quickly just keep doing it as much as possible between 4 and 8 at night and I hear that first thing in the morning too. But most importantly just relax and enjoy!
