Unfortunately, the next president will likely be John McCain or Hillary Clinton, but if the electorate knew what was good for it they would elect Russ Feingold, one of the few patriots in this current congress with the strength to stand up to the current corrupt and inept administration.

A rather complicated question. Bill Frist seems to me to be the frontrunner in the Republican side. John McCain may make a good showing, but he is still too distant from the Republican base to get the nomination, he'll be out at the primaries. Condi Rice may make a good showing, but I think she'll lose as well, though her chances greatly increase if Hilary Clinton gets the Democratic nomination. Then there is Rudy Guliani, but no one knows if he'll run or not. But I think he takes the Republican nomination if he does.
On the Democratic side, while I believe that Clinton is the most qualified, I doubt she'll win the primary out of fear that her being a woman will lose the votes. That or the fact that she comes across as a cold fish, and the Democrats don't want to throw away their chance when George Bush has brought them so close. So look for Chuck Schumer to take it, or John Edwards. But John Edwards looks too young for the job, so I believe it will be given to Chuck Schumer as the most likely one to win it in the main race. Al Gore may try, but fear that everyone may think he'll do the suing thing again may keep him out, which may scare Democrats away from accepting him.
So my prediction for running is Bill Frist vs. Chuck Schumer. Or Condi Rice vs. Hilary Clinton. Of those, whoever (Republican or Democrat) can get John McCain as a running mate, that one wins. That's because John McCain is big among swing voters. The main candidate wins the base, John McCain wins them the swing votes. If John McCain refuses to run with any one of them, I see the Democrats taking it because of the fear that the Republicans may take away more rights to privacy.

president of what? I think the next president of the afl-cio will be James hoffa, jr once more. He is wonderful, and very sexy in his big butt. Or the next president of Mexico might be Elian Gonzalis; he now can read, write and smoke Cuba cigars so he qualifies. The current president of the USA, Dick Cheney, isn't running again.

No clue. It has been my experience that the ones who win the primaries are rarely the ones you know. I would like to see McCain if republican or (and I can't believe I am saying this) Gore if democrat. But I doubt either one will make the bid.

Whoever the Democrats run - it could be the devil and he'd win. I'm putting my money though on Hillary Clinton should she elect to run.
