how can I flush the toilet with no water? the sewer blew up down the road and water is everywhere.?

I have this massive SH** in the dumper and If I dont flush it soon flies and maggots will spawn Im sure. I tried a bucket of water but it almost over flowed. well my stomch did hurt after that taco bell and chinese buffet! HELP PLEASE!

Get a bucket of water and dump it in then use a plunger to help open up the drain in the back. Also make sure there's enough water in the tank. If there is and it's still not flushing, reach in (that part's clean, don't worry) and pull the little rubber flapper up. It should be attached to a little chain.

Don't panic, I am an expert....

Use your hand to check and see that the drain is clear. Do not go further than 2 or 3 inches above the elbow. If the drain is clear, get a long stick that is about 1 inch in diameter. Beat/mix the water in the bowl creating a slurry with no chunks larger 1/4 inch diameter. Get a thermometer and measure the temperature of the slurry. Check one more time with you hand to see if the drain is still open. Now, transfer the contents of the bowl into a bucket using a table spoon or a piece of garden hose as a siphon. With another bucket, fill the bowl with clean water and flush. If it flushes, then you can return the slurry to the bowl. Check the temperature and drain one last time. You are now ready to flush.
