When people see your answers to questions, change the words a bit, add a little and use them as their own?
Often I'll go back to see if anyone has a different slant on a question I've already answered and a few answers down, theres my slightly camoflagued answer. Can't these Seinfeld type yada yadas come up with their own?

Maybe they felt the same way you did when they answered the question. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to answer questions on this site. I for one don't really read the other answers before I add my own. I've also noticed this but I don't take it personally. It just seems to me there are quite a few people out there that think like me.

It ticks me off worse when someone cuts me off in traffic. BUt yeah I guess I've never had that happen although I've seen others do it. I saw someone's answer and thought, "that was very thorough, no need for me to answer" and then scrolled down and another answer was exactly the same. They didn't even try to hide it.

Yeah, that can be irritating. The sad thing is those people aren't actually answering the question to put in valuable knowledge, they just want the points. So they copy someone elses answer.

I usually don't answer if I see someone has alreadly answered the way I would have. Seems pointless.
I like the Seinfeld reference, though. Funny.

what happens to me a lot is that as i'm typing the answer someone else has hit return first with a very similar answer. your ideas may not be that unique. your assumption that others are copying may not be right. two people often have same/similar ideas for answers.

Sometimes people are answering a question and don't see the original answer before it until they finish. If it happens to me, I delete my answer.
