Now I'm not sure if i'm pregnant or not, guess not since the second test was negative....

On the first preg. test that was positive, the second line was very very faint, but it was there...could it have been a mistake?

There is no such a thing as a false positive, but there is a false negative. The hormone that makes a HPT positive is called hcg and it duplicates every other day, if you had a positive test you are more likely to be pregnant, wait and test again in two more days and test in the morning, when we are very early into the pregnancy the hcg is better read in the morning since it is just a little bit of it. Take one more. False positives are very very very rare. HPT's are testing you for the hormone Hcg this hormone is only present in your body if you are pregnant. Wait a day or two if no bleeding take another then call your doc. Or call your doc. immediatly if it will make you feel better. Good Luck to you!

a false negative is possible on a home test - the hcG concentration in your urine wasn't high enough to pick it up - if you have had a positive test, call your gynecologists office and ask for a blood test to be done to determine your pregnancy

you really should go to a dr and get a blood test. That will give youthe best answer.

i'm 26 years previous now and a similar component occurred to me whilst i replaced into 17. the line replaced into very faint. It became out that i replaced into pregnant. I took yet another attempt to determine and if got here lower back helpful. So greater effective than probable you're Pregnant.

you may need more time. changes in hormones are one indication of pregnancy. levels rise and fall at different rates in different women. try to relax and don't focus on getting pregnant. remember to have other things in your life. join a class or something. don't waste any more money on home pregnancy tests until you are two to four weeks late. remember to exercise and eat healthy.
