B-
I give them credit for what they are doing over there. There are things that, looking back, I would do differently but then it is just be being an "armchair general". I have NO idea what it is like in a war... as do most of the other posting on the question. We can all have opinions that is cool (and what I love about this country) but lets be realistic here on how much of a better job we could do at running a country or a war.
We have to know that those elected officials should have the nations overall "BEST" in mind when making decisions. If they don't... then vote them out! (sorry... tangent...later!)

For the war I'd give the government good grades. After all our armed forces toppled the government in short time. But you must remember the war ended when Bush landed on the carrier and declared mission accomplished. We are now an occupying force. And I give the administration straight F's for screwing up the occupation.

Scale of 1-10, 10. They stood by their decision to go in the war and did not back down when democrats and pacifists screamed for retreat. They have handled the strategy and planning well. So there is no reason why they should not get a good rating.

U.S. Government and Armed Force... A+
The President of the United States is provided with legal authority to send troops to defend our country! He saw a threat and he did! Of course, democrats criticizing (don't have anything better to do) yet the President and his Staff stood by they decision and are working very hard to ensure our nation is safe and again democrats criticizing.
Soldiers are dying? Well, of course - they are hired to defend our country during peace and war times and they will work in extreme hazard conditions
They know that... I did when I signed up to join the Marine Corps.... it is clearly stated on your enlistment contract right above where you sign. Or is it that they join so the Government can pay for college?
They die for they country and we are very proud of them.
Scary is what's going to happen if democrats win the elections....

The government itself is a complete failure, an F. The troops are giving their all but there are simply not enough of them there to do the job. The government either needs to send more, or pull the ones that are there already out, to limit the deaths on America's side of things.

A D- And that's just for the young people risking their lives! Especially the people of color! Oh my god! The thought of going 3000+ miles to fight with people whom have never been your natural enemy! To comeback home to Amerikkka and face the same systemic and institutional racism has got to be devastating! Especially for a black man! Oh my God! As Bro. Ali said! "Aint no Iraqi ever did nothing to me!"
