I think with a name like Payton.. the child would be teased.. and called payton manning.
then again, children will always find something to tease other children about, and the name is cute. I like them both.

They are not that obvious gender specific names. I personally don't like when people try to be clever with common names by changing the spelling- too pretentious. You're spelling of Michael (I'm assuming that is what it is) looks like Nickle with an M. Mickle. Not pretty. Payton is alright. It doesn't really conjure anything special in my mind though. I like names that evoke a feeling.
