If you could describe color to a blind person using taste, what would different colors taste like?

orange - carrots
light green - lime, lemon, citrus
dark green - spinach, leafy veggies
brown - spicy as in allspice, cinammon
yellow - eggs or custards
white - milk, rice
blue - ice
beige, tan - peanut butter
purple - beets, grape juice
black - coffee
pink - sugar, candy

White would taste like a hot food that burns your mouth and throat. Black and dark brown would taste like rich chocolate. Light blue, pink, and purple would taste airy, like whip cream. Red would taste sweet and strong. Orange would be tangy, and yellow would be sour. Dark blue would be heavy and thick, like a custard. Green would taste woody, like leaves and grass and cucumbers.

Pink would taste like lollipops
Yellow would taste like honey
Violet would taste like sugar
Orange would taste like....er..orange

Some of these are not very original, but these were the tastes that first came into my head when i thought of the colours!

and just like that. colors all remind of something good. and you can pretty much carry them around. (you can make variations of course)

i would say blue is like water,
red is like fruit punch
orange, is like, well, oranges
yellow is soft, and pale, like a flower
green is sour, (lime green)
purple is fruity and sweet
