I remeber after I saw the first Jaurassic Park in the theatre, I had a nightmare about the T-Rex. I woke up sweating, disoriented and terrrified. I heard this loud, "Thump, Thump, Thump" and was so frightened, I almost screamed. I was convinced it was a T-Rex and it was gonna eat me. It took me about two minutes to fully wake up and realize that terrifiying sound was really my own heartbeat.

I am scared easily - one of those people who "jump" at loud noises and such. Of course, my friends all make fun of me and further the "humiliation" by constantly pulling pranks! LOL Sorry, but I have three stories, that for me, are all "equally" funny!
I used to work in a factory and there where two maintenence men who knew "my secret". They thrived on it.
John once came up to my machine very quietly and just blended in. He stood there for I don't know how long! (Later, he said it had been about 10 minutes). Anyway . . . their uniforms are navy blue and as soon as I noticed him standing there, it totally reminded me of Michael Myers (from the Halloween movies). He was just standing there, just like in a scene from that movie! I jumped and screamed SO loud! He laughed so hard that HE ended up tripping and almost went down! "I" had the last laugh on that one!
Rod was always good at hiding under my machine. He would take his hand and come out at my feet. One day . . . he was on top of the machine. Again, he was there for I don't know how long before I saw him! This time, my eyes got real big and I took such a huge gasp of air, that I almost choked! Afterward, I laughed so hard I puked!
To this day, both men remember the "time I scared Mary SO bad"! They don't let me forget! LOL They (combined) definitely earn the respective title!
Another time, I had gone to see the "Texas Chainsaw Masacre" (NOT a big fan of horror, as I let my friend talk me into going with him!) I was freaked out and couldn't think of anything else except that monster's face! I couldn't sleep that night.
The very next morning (still dark) I was walking my dog up along the river and there are woods on the opposite side, (same place I always take her) and all of a sudden I hear this REAL chainsaw sound. OMG! I freaked and and started to run, forgetting that my poor dog was being drug along. Once I composed myself, I realized it WAS a chainsaw, but at the factory across the river. I told Sean about it later and I didn't think he would ever stop laughing at my stupidity!

When I was 17, I had a dream that Jason Vories was looking into my bedroom window. It was so real, I could see the hockey mask and everything. After that, I was afraid to go outside alone for about a month!

When I was a little girl, I used to get scared every year we watch Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer by that adbonidable snowman! He still frightens me!

i was in Germany during an exercise, after the simulated attack we went outside to check for unexploded bombs. we got 3 feet from a barrier when a bomb on the other side exploded. it should have exploded before we went outside but the timer was not working right. all three of us lost our hearing for awhile and our balance was messed up. we took off running as fast as we could, because the evaluation team was trying to find us to "kill" us but we got away.

how nice. when i was three i was freaked out by a cricket on our wall
one would think that on an island with giant dinosaurs they'd be better armed. an AK 47 would punch holes in even a t-rex

well this was recent, i was playing this maze game and when i got really into it, the exorcist girl popped up and screamed and i shouted really loud and jumped out of my seat
