lots and lots of crunches..and sit ups....its not an over night thing...takes months

Definitely go with lots of crunches but you also have to do cardio to lose the layer of fat over the toned muscles. Running is the best either outside or on a treadmill. I've been doing this for a couple weeks and my abs are really starting to show.

Well first of all you have to do cardio to lose weight by burning more caalories then you take in. Then once the extra weight is gone, you can just tone up you abs while still maintaining a healthy weight. I do not reccomend the cross crunch, but the abslide works great.

Women aren't supposed to have harshly defined abdominal muscles like men do. Frankly, every man I've talked to finds it unattractive for women to have defined abdominal muscles, and there's a reason for that. It boils down to child bearing, and a woman without that layer of fat doesn't appear to be fit for child bearing. There's supposed to be a layer of fat over our abdomens. If you're within the healthy weight range for your height, your stomach is going to look fairly flat from the perspective of someone else looking at you. I always notice a little pudge on myself (I'm 5'4'', 106lbs) but my guy friends always tell me I have an awsome stomach for a chick.

Pilate's works very well for great abs! It makes your muscles long and lean and uses your center (stomach) for everything. So it really flattens and tones it.

omg i would say crunchers and curl ups dont really work
well ive done them for monthess and i guess i got a lil bit of muscle but it hasnt gotten rid of a little bit of belly fat... but just a little...... idk how to get rid of it

almost all the girls i know are skinny. they don't have "abs" but they're not fat
