With all that has been going on lately I think that this is a pretty good question. How do you think that the recent incidents in N. Korea, China, Iran, Isrial, Lebanon and other countries will effect out lives in the future? Will we go to war with any of those countries? What do you think the outcome will be and how will the American people respond?

I think it is imminent that we will be in a war with someone. I see too many things going on and I read the Bible to find answers as I see some of them in there already happening. I think our gas prices will be high from here on, and I see our country having our own fuel supplies within the next 20 yrs, hopefully sooner and not needing the other countries for that anymore. I see the goods trades hurting us if we do get more dependant on ourselves as well. I think the outcome will be more terrorism and to go with that the more population to add to that terrorism. I think the American people will respond in a way to make our country more dependant on ourselves and not depending on the other countries as much for fuel etc.... I would like to hope it goes that way anyways and not be a WW3 or the end of times. With N. Korea and the possible nukes, that is the scariest of all and can be the most troublsome. We can only put our faith in God more than ever and know Jesus and pray for it very well could be the beginnings to the end.

Unfortunately, I think the USA will not be in a much different place or space than where it is now: Holding on to economic and military power base in order to curb irrational self-created public fear and to sustain high consumerism - and thereby continiously eroding its own image as responsible global leader with integrity.

Unless, there is enough ordinary Americans exercising the voting rights and asking questions like these - implying that the current response should be changed. Afterall, you cannot expect to get different results if you continue to do the same.

In 20 years, America will be much less powerful than it is now (and if you don't think our leaders know it, ask yourself why they insist on exercising that power so frequently - that is the behavior of someone who is loosing something and knows it).

In 50 years, America will be irrelevant.

And the only way to change that is to stop acting like masters of the world, and I'm not just talking about our leaders. I'm talking about the Average American who thinks it is ok to drive a car that gets 15 miles per gallon, who thinks it is ok to have 2 months worth of food in your cupboard, and who thinks it is acceptable to be more obsessed with Britney Spears' latest exploits than with the behavior of our politicians.

But then, what is done cannot be undone.

it is not about the "american people", it's about the warmongering idiots they elect. when did bush ever call you up and say "gee do ya think i outa go to war?"
america will long be forgotten by all the united EEC countries who have banded together to make a better world for themselves and their people, they will prosper, when america has failed. the health care there is better, the medicines, the real organic food, the air and the water, the lifestyle, the cars, the tv shows, the movies, everything about Europe is better than the USA. people who immigrated to the usa, have made money, are actually going back to europe for the quality of life there!

North Korea, Iran, Israel, and Lebanon have almost zero effect on us. We will be China's new territory in your lifetime.
