My husband and i are looking for a new car because our other cars are old but we are on a tight budget . We wanted to know which cars are the best. (By the way we want a used car.)

Check out the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, etc. I've attached links to the top ten most fuel efficient cars for 2003-2005. That should help you find a good used car. (2004 split into Hybrid verusus non-hybrid, but it should still be useful.)

I think Subaru's, Toyotas, Or Nissans are good reliable cars that can be purchased for reasonable prices used, A lot of used car dealers these days can find easy financing for you, so your monthly payments will be pretty low. especially if you can save up a thousand or so for a down payment.
