What life would be like if everything was perfect? Would it even be possible? A worldwide Utopia ... If you think about it ... since the dawn of time, there has been a balance between positive and negative energies. There is no escaping either one. If you have good times in your life, bad times will eventually come, and vice versa. Nothing good lasts forever, but then again so does nothing bad. Is a worldwide utopian society even plausible? Could there be a world with no evil/negative energies/bad in it? I don't think so ... and to wait for one to come is pointless. Life has needed and always will need balance. The good will need to be balanced by the bad.

What do you think?

Nothing is perfect

I don't believe in a world when there is only happiness, only positive and only good.

Utopia doesn't exist. Why? It cannot exist. Even if it does exist, it cannot survive, or it will be destroyed by humans.

I, too, do believe in the balance between good and bad.

The two novels: Brave New World and 1984 prove that the balance is the utmost necessary element in life.

I agree with you. Also if everything was perfect there wouldn't be any objectives or dreams to conquer. Boredom its known to be a great cause of evil (on oneself and on others).
But I wonder if it would be possible to live in a world that wasn't perfect but pure evil wouldn't exist. The negatives energies would be all the unaccomplished objectives, stress, sadness and tiredness.... and such. But if the pure evil would be eliminated than with that pure good would also go. I also don't think there can be pure goodness without some faults - that's what makes us human.
So, the "perfect world" would be the one where the middle good/evil would prevail. Maybe that's the solution....don't know.... what do you think?

A worldwide utopia once existed...the Garden of Eden was not a perfect island in a fallen world until the Fall of Man. I believe that God Himself had to allow evil so we could choose whether to love Him or not. Without choice, there can be no love; without love, there is a void, and where there is a void, perfection cannot exist.

I think if that were to happen, there would be no reason to live and people would kill themselves out of boredom.
