I just got my Motorola Razor a month ago and now it is having technical difficulties. It keeps shutting itself off and freezing up on my calls. The screen would just go completely blank for no reason. Is something technically wrong with the Razor phones? Or is just mine? I want to go back to Nokia.

The "official" answer is that there is nothing wrong with the Razr. The "experienced" answer working for customer care for a cell phone company is get a different phone...the Razr phones are not all they are cracked up to be.

I had a razr for about a year and a half and had problems with the network in my area (MN) and they sent me a new one and this one shuts off when i close it every once in a while and I have to turn it back on. I like the phone but if you can I would get rid of it. Mine is through cingular.

If it is a black phone or a razr you bought from Cingular...youh ave the bad batch which they sold at these good deals a few months ago. You might have to go motorola directly...

Yeah, think it might be your phone, not all of them.
I would call in warranty or take it to the cingular or whatever place you got it and have them check it.
Is it charging up ok?
Did anything happen to it?
Did it get wet?

Sounds like a bad unit.

I know a few people who have them and they all love them. Several have said it's the best phone they've ever owned.

It sounds like it is just yours. Take it back to where you got it and tell them. There should be a warranty on it.
