Get the HTC Wizard. It's also called the I-mate KJam.

Its the one I use. It's absolutely awesome. It has Windows Mobile 5.0 so it works just like your computer. You can upload videos, mp3's, pictures, and documents to the phone. You'll need to buy a mini SD card to hold all of this stuff. The phone sync's with Windows Media Player on your computer and with your Outlook as well.

It comes with a camera that takes pictures and videos. It's 1.3mp. It comes in handy when you're not carrying your regular camera but for a trip I'm sure you'll have a digi with you. The phone works with bluetooth and has a sliding keyboard which allows for easy emails and document editing. To be honest, you probably won't use all the features, but they are nice to have. It has a PDF viewer, Excel, and Word.

Battery life is great! You can got 4 to 5 days without a charge. Remember, it is a pocket pc, so there are lots of programs running and the screen sucks juice when you use the applications but like I said, 4 to 5 days is very good for a pocket pc. It's a quad band phone so you can use it world wide. I find it very easy to use with lots of quick buttons that you can program to goto the features you use the most. But the preprogrammed ones are fine on their own. It supports Wi-Fi access, and the GPRS for net browsing is pretty fast.

In my mind, it's a great pocket pc. Better than that Palm Treo crap, the HP junk, and it kicks on the Sidekick.

Currently the best smart phones or MDAs are produced by HTC (Hi Tech Computers) in cooperation with Cingular and Microsoft, who produced the Windows CE platform. The 8125 by Cingular has a plethora of features including an elegant sliding QWERTY keyboard, bluetooth, video and mp3 playing functionality (with stereo headset included) as well as internet and email functionality.
