We all have our preferences and dislike some teams more than others, some for their agressive play, cheap shots, dives, cheating, luck, referee's favourites (!), fan behavior, or just because they are (always) good. This year I disliked Italy because of their disputed and dubious win over Australia, and because of the Materazzi incident which put a shame on their shoot-out victory. What are your thoughts?

Portugal- because they beat england
Italy- Because they are cheaters who won the world cup
England- because their fans are sore losers and some of their players have bad tempers
France- Because they beat Brasil and Portugal
USA- Because they suck
Brazil-Because they lost
Holland- Because they lost to Portugal
Germany- Because they were the home team that didnt make it to the Final
Argentina- Because they lost to Germany
Ghana- Because they beat the US
Austraila- Because they let Italy beat them

Just trying to find the worst in every team...lol

I dont hate any teams though...

I disliked Australia for not being able to score against Italy when they were a man down, win that game and the World Cup eventually. It's obvious that, if Italy hadn't won the game against Australia, Australia would have been in the final, and maybe would be world champions now.

I also disliked France for not being able to score against Italy except for that penalty awarded in the 6th minute, and for not keeping their cool in the shootout. They were clearly the best side, so they should have won, no matter how.

These are my thoughts ;-)

I'd say Portugal were perhaps the most hated side at the World Cup. Not so much for beating England, but because of their antics throughout the tournament, such as diving and trying to get opponents booked or sent off. This was evidenced by the reception they got from neutral fans during their semi-final defeat to France. The side that everyone liked, I would say that everyone wanted to see Germany do well, simply because they were the host nation.

The Italians and the Portroguese were on a par really. I see plenty of Portroguese are answering your question trying to justify the fact that their team are cheats. If Rooney deliberately stamped on Carvalho how did he manage to get up, surely a visit to the hospital would of been neccessary. And as for Materazzi he is just a joke 6ft 5in and went to the floor like a little girl.

I didn't hate any teams, hate is a strong word, I probably disliked some of the ref's decision, all in all I can't complain because my Italy won the World Cup, and in 4 years may the best man win and hopefully the best ref's be chosen!!!

For me it was JAPAN, even though they're are my favorites... They were EXTREMELY dissapointing, but I get the point - the Asians are a little bit ''new'' I suppose in the football world on global level... But why were they VERY good 4 years ago? And I wouldn't call the African teams dissapointing, because they never participated before, I know! If you saw Japan... The keeper was yeah, excellent, good enough - let's say - but the defence was worthless! And this penalty given away by Tsuneyasu Miyamoto... It will always be in my mind!

England - with theri past the prime star Beckham who is more like spice girl than a true football player, and Ronney is just a brute who cannot control his own temper. So much hype around such a useless team.

I have a hard time identifying an entire team. I have no problem with pointing out that I disliked some of the individual players.

even though i supported them, england because their football was unattractive for such a great array of players and their style was boring. They did not contribute to the idea of world football and tried to play too conservative to win (but ironically ended up losing)
