If The US was invaded, i would certainly resist, so yes that would make me a terrorist to the invader. I would condone terrorist acts, but not the acts of religious terrorist (no suicide bombings). We were terrorists in the revolution to the British, but we didn't commit to suicide bombings. Nor would i condone hiding behind innocent women and children or lie to my fellow American that if he commits suicide he will go to heaven. If my family was killed before my very eyes, whoever did it better pray that he kills me next or i would fight the rest of my days until i was eventually killed by them or i see them driven out of my country. If they say that if we cooperate then they'll leave 4-6 years, I'd tell them to go to hell, unlike Iraq our leadership doesn't gas, shoot, mame, or torture its own citizens. If there were Americans who just let the enemy stroll through that's one thing, but if there were Americans actively helping the invaders, heck ya id target them, they will get more people killed then if they kept their mouth shut. I would never give up, never surrender. I see your point is to tie us to whats going on in Iraq, but the fact is that they are a different kind of terrorist, they fight to kill as many people as they can who aren't Muslim or who don't believe in their culture or values, whereas we would be fighting for our way of life, to preserve it, not end it.

1) Before I choose a side, I want to know reasons. If the invader has a good reason to invade, then I will assist. Otherwise, I will either defend my nation or get out of the way.
2) In war, there are no rules. Although, suicidal attempts will be condone. Submitting to death so easily means that your death is meaningless.
3) No. How would my death solve anything when I manage to do is harm a few innocent bystanders?
4) If the invasion was done without notifying the country to be invaded, no. If notification was given and good intentions provided, maybe. It is dependent on their honesty.
5) Yes. They are not Americans anymore sense they chose to betray us. If the intent was not betrayal, it is all par for the course. Espionage is a game where your own life it up for wager.
6) I never give up. My goals and alliances may change, but I will never give up on a future in harmony.

Wow.
1. I would try to get other countries to help out. I would not resist through physical violence, because who rules the country is less important than the lives of my family. I would also want to stay alive, for my family's sake.
I would use passive resistance, so long as it was safe to do so.
2. Never. It is wrong to blame civilians for their government's actions, so I would not attack civilians. And I would remember that soldiers must follow orders whether they like it or not. I would not target them either.
3. Never. Once again, murder is WRONG.
4. I would be skeptical, but since the world would be watching, I would give them their 4-6 years. At the end of that time, the world would probably force the invading nation to fulfill their promise.
5. No. Once again, murder is WRONG.
6. I don't know.

You must not understand how well our military works. Before any sort of invasion from any foriegn nation could take place, we'd know about it. We'd see the planes, ships and whatever else on radar and if they didn't cooperate with OUR military, we'd blow em up. There will never be another Pearl Harbor type attack here. We'll prevent it before it could happen.
Second, if we resorted to "terrorist tactics" then we become no better than the terrorists.

The wingnuts are convinced that 500,000 Chinese Communists in black uniforms have amassed below the Mexican border awaiting word from Bejing to attack the United States.
Believe me, the rightwingers will be the first to vacate the United States if we're invaded. The only targets they'll provide the commies are their backs.

I am not nor would I ever be a terrorist. I would not go to the invading country and specifically target innocent civilians. I can't understand why people are trying to justify these animals. They are evil face it, there is no way to make them like us.

Nice try. There is no correlation between this situation happening in America and the parallel you are trying to draw with Iraq. If you want to draw a true parallel, you need to include the situational factors that were in place in Iraq before the military action began. So, no soup for you!

the only difference between terrorists and freedom fighters is who writes the history. If we lost the revolutionary war then George Washington would have been a terrorist and the Boston tea party a terror assault.
