Thanks. I know spelling and grammar is WAY MORE IMPORTANT than abortions. What's a fetus compared to nouns, verbs, and subject-verb agreement. Now go flush one down the toilet.

I am personally against the legalization of abortion, but I don't think doctors who perform abortions should be charged for murder. If abortion is considered to be ''taking a life'', then there would be no rationale to abort even when it is to save the mothers life. How can you take someones life just to save another life? So it must be, that although abortion is wrong, it is not considered to be ''taking a life''. Therefore one who aborts illegally should be charged with a crime, but the crime should not be murder.

Didn't anyone open the link. It says ILLEGAL ABORTIONS and if you read the article you would know that. Don't be so quick to respond when you don't have all the facts. Most of you saw "abortion" and "death penalty" and got a hard on to put this person down.

Anyway, I don't know about the death penalty because the chick could have gone somewhere else that was legal to have it done. However, they should be punished for practicing illegally.

And I don't agree with abortion but the law is the law.

Also, there is a difference between pro life and pro death penalty. An unborn baby didn't do anything wrong. A death row criminal knew what they were doing was wrong and did it anyway.

Whether they should be prosecuted is one question which depends on current law. However, in most places the fetus is not legally a person until after viable birth. If it were classified as a person from conception, then if the mother smokes, drinks alcohol, performs any act which could be detremental to the fetus, then she could be prosecuted for assault. Also, the government could be accused of negligence for not preventing any potential damage to a fetus thus forcing general health care at least during pregnancy. Oh what a tangled web we weave .....

Because that's not the law. Abortion is not recognized as murder because an unborn child is not recognized as a human being.

That, and it's a medical procedure

There's a long way to go before anti-abortion advocates build up to that.

Ethan, you damn nut.If you're such a staight-laced good boy why are you enabling nuts like him?

By law,a first trimester abortion is considered a part of the woman's body who selects the proceduer.

A TEXAS nut.That explains everything.

Pro-life and pro death penalty. Repukes are so versitile. We'll do anything for the unborn....but once your born...you're on your own and if you grow up to be a doctor...we're going to kill you.

Maybe perhaps because abortions are currently legal and they are not breaking any laws. I could be wrong though.
