When voting on the Best Answer to a question I've asked, I'd like to be able to give 10 points to more than one person--often several answers are good and can be combined. I'd also like to be able to deduct points from the idiots who give "Peanut Gallery" answers.

If we could choose the number of points to give to the best answer, like from a scale of 1-20, I think it would be great because I think it would encourage people to give better answers..and for those idiots that have stupid answers, it would be great if we could also deduct the number of points we pleased like I said earlier from a scale of 1-20...Also I think that the person with the highest score from having best answers should be entitled to a gift ...No not a car or a paid vacation but something like maybe computer programs...access to download free games ..just simple things like that....

I would change it so that people would not be rude and crude, and would use it in the spirit for which it is intended.

it could be a great resource, but so far I am really disappointed with the foul language just for the sake of shock value, and all of the lame answers given (like, "I dunno") just to collect points.

I don't know what anyone thinks they are getting for the points they are trolling for, but it can't be much. Yahoo should do away with the point system so that the trolls would go skulk around somewhere else.

I would definitely divide the sight into age groups. That way, children and consult with other children and adults and ask adult questions without some of the childish feedback. The requirement would be to enter a credit card and some other verifiable information (but the card would not be charged).

That when a question you have answered is removed you don't lose that one in the count of Answers.I had 1707 this morning but now it isor was 1699.I do not know why since I can't look back through mine to find them.So they should show us why our count is lower.

Maybe a short time limit on how long questions can be answered. People stop answering them after a day or so but then it can take weeks to get a best answer.

I would want some way to remove the answers that are irrelevant to the question and/or take away the points gained by posting those answers.

Give you at least a few minutes to edit your question once it posted, so if you spot an obvious mistake in the "header" once it's official, you can go change it....once my word "should" changed to "sho" when I posted...don't know why and I couldn't change it and it didn't make any sense!

I would add an option to compare answers. It is really tough when there is more than 30 answers to remember where a good answer you saw was and compare it to another good answer.
