First day of High School.............?

How do i act? Should i use a backpack? What do i wear? What kind of purse? How should i do my hair? I just need some tips about the first day of high school................HELP, PLEASE!

Dress how you feel most comfortable, don't let other people influence you on how you should dress. Be your own person. If you normally bring a purse bring a purse, if you are more comfortable with backpacks, wear one, the only way you can become popular is by being yourself.

The first day of school is gonna be fine.You act how you would normally act.Everybody in your grade will act the same way.and for the most part,your just a freshmen,ppl don't expect much out of you,so don't stress.You probably wont need a backpack the first week(all rules and stuff),but as you go on,homework will get hard to carry in your hands.Wear whatever you want to wear.I suggest NOT DRESSING UP(dresses,long skirts,ect.)!!nobody does that anymore.It would be nice to have a purse to match every outfit,but if that is too hectic,use your normal purse.I think a good style to wear your hair in is,half up half down,or just all down.If you're cute all the upperclassmen boys will like you(but don't worry about them yet,wait until later in the yr. when you get the hang of things to start breaking hearts).If you know how to fight then be prepared,if not well then still be prepared.The first school activity or maybe even the first day of school will be Freshmen beatdown.Mainly the boys are the only ones that have to worry,but it doesn't help to be on your guard.

They are all right. It's important to look and feel comfortable. Do look nice tho'. First impression are important too. If you carry a backpack, do not carry a purse. That would be too much. Hair should be down, unless it is unbearably hot that day. As far as how do you act???? Relax. We all worried about this in High School. No one will remember what you had on or how you were acting. Most of the time- people are way worried about themselves to even remotely remember much about you. Not putting you down, it just a fact. Dont think about it soo much, just relax dress the way you normally dress you are there for school not to impress anyone. Well you just dont want to go overbroad.

Jeans and cute top always work!
instead of a purse and backpack, use a cute toote bag it can be used for both personal and school.

*DOnt wear a lot of makeup, and find your classes before time. Even if you dont know where you are going, pretend you do. You can always tell who the Freshman are, they normally go into the wrong class so double check!!!

girl I am going to my first year of high school to well i'm just gonna look cute nothing over the top though probably just some capris a cute shirt and some sandals I don't know um my sisters friend is hooking my hair up I don't know how she's gonna do it but every time she does do my hair it comes out looking nice i'm getting my nails done yes i'm wearing a purse I just think that its gonna be a regular first day at a different school but just with a lot more ppl just find the ppl from your old school stick together as long as you can and you'll be find b/c thats what i'm doing well I hope I helped you out

Just chill out.... It's not that big of a deal. You know everybody from middle school, you'll meet new people from other middle schools, and the upperclassmen will ignore you. Put something nice on (don't dress like a tramp, nothing is more irritating than a freshmen dressed like a 20 year old), do your hair, don't mouth off to the older kids, and have a good time.

act you...but with a little twist,start the new you make your self a little more interesting,remember nobody stays the same,they make slight changes,for a back pack,well....if your the sporty,or casual type,you should wear a basketball bag,the ones with the drawstring at the top,if your preppy,use a cute beach bag that matches your out fit to hold your supplies,trust me beach bags r n,always wear a skirt on the first day of school,the second ,Capri's or gauchos,third,jeans,and wear what ever you want the rest of the days.remember you want to be different but you don't want to be a out cast.good luck,im going to high school for the first time too but i got alot of help

Haha im a senior and trust me its not that big of a deal...u meet tons of people and ull have a blast...just wear what u would normally wear to school...make sure u feel comfortable in whatever ur wearing....most people do take backpacks but its not a big deal either way...nobody really notices....dont worri

Lol your going in to high school I went throught that last year. the first day well I met up wiht a bunch of friends we went throught it together. you should just pack a notebook to keep track of where your classes are and stuff like that inportant notes and something to write with. when you go to high school dont be scared because everyone has to go through it. I wasent scared I was before though just make sure your with your best friend and never let go of them. thats my best solution
