Hard disk of my laptop does not have any partition. I want to make partition. Will I face any problem? What software should I use? My Laptop is Dell Inspiron 510m.

There should not be any problems, just because it is a laptop. If you have the insallation disc for windows it has a program called fdisk. when you see the command prompt. type in: D:/fdisk, where d is the letter of the cd-rom drive, this should run the program, then follow the instructions to create a new partition.

You "MUST" use partition magic to do this not fdisk or any other utility if you use the partition magic you're safety is 99% but not 100%. You can easily create partition from your free space on your laptop. have a nice dat.

There shouldn't be any problems. Try partition magic software.
