Well, I'm pro choice and this is what I think about abortion. I don't agree with it as a means of birth control. I think it's horrible how women have multiple abortions because they evidently do not know what makes a baby. I think it's definitely okay in the cases or rape and incest or when a woman's life is in danger. I think it's awesome when a woman decides on adoption instead. That's always the more preferable solution. HOWEVER, I also think it should be up to each individual woman to decide for herself and for her situation. I do not believe that I nor the government has any right to tell someone what to do in these cases. Abortion is a very difficult decision for most women. They are the ones that are going to have to live with whatever decision they make, not me and not the government or the anti abortion crowd. Pro choice people are not pro abortion, we are pro choice and there is a difference. In my opinion, unless you are prepared to adopt that would be aborted baby, then it's not any of your business.

I don't think that I can tell anyone else what they can or cannot do with their life. The issue with abortion is that it's strongly tied in with religion. I thought it was separation of church and state here. That's why, even though I personally feel that abortion is wrong, that I have no business deciding that it is wrong for everyone else in this country as well. Their personal views/religion may not care about having an abortion. That's why I am pro-choice.

That every woman has the right to sovereignty over her own body. That nobody thinks abortions are *good* but that a woman has the right to determine if it's the right choice for her. That no woman or young girl who has already been traumatized by rape or incest should be forced to carry a resulting pregnancy to term if she doesn't want to. That abortions will still happen (as they always have) even if we outlaw them and that no woman who has made such a difficult decision should then have to fear for her life because she has to visit a back-alley abortionist. And that we live in a secular nation and that nobody has the right to legislate their religious beliefs onto everyone else.

I have always beleive that it is the womens right to have an abortion if she wants to. I would never hold it against somebady. I personally could never bring myself to get read of my baby under any circumstance, but thats just me. I was reading another abortion question earlier today and got couris and did some research and after reading all the ways they do abortions (indetail) I couldnt imagine someone doing that. I encourage andy reading this to go to abortionfacts.com and read its very sad..especially anyone considering it. I would hope that people would give their kids for adoption and to people who cant have kids and truly want them after all Their parents gave them a chance at life... But at the end of the day it is the womans choes and we cant critize her for it...

I think abortion is a woman's choice, one that is made between her, her doctor, and her partner. I think that women need to be fully educated on what abortion is, how it is preformed, what risks are involved, and given counseling both before and after the procedure. I feel that abortion is ultimately the woman's decision. I am not for abortion, I am for choice.

pro-choice simply means that you are for a woman's right to choose... it does not necessarily mean that support or are against abortion, it just means that you think a woman can make her own decision about it... many people (such as myself) are pro-choice and pro-life.... i personally could never have an abortion and i wish that women would look at other options, but if she feels that that is her only choice, unless i am willing to raise her baby myself, who am i to tell her what to do?

Abortion is a tool of God to make the world a better place. My God does not kill in abortion, he simply transfers the life to a different soul. So there is no murder, or even killing. When God miscarries a fetus or aborts a fetus, he simply expels the fetus. It is that simple.

i think it's OK to get an abortion if the woman has been raped by someone or a family member, or if having the baby can cause her to die(health reasons)but other then that I'm totally against abortion.

I don't know............ But I am totally against it.
Yes having a kid at an early age can ruin your life. If you let. Life is what you make of it.
But, if you think you are responsible enough to spread your legs , ...........then you need to take the responsibilities that come with it !

Personally, it's not something I could do. But, I don't have the right to judge anyone else and what they feel is best.
It's their personal decision. You never know what it's like to walk in someone else's shoes.
