As others have suggested, you need to get a better understanding from your doctor on what the situation is and what your options are.
I would avoid thinking of it as the end of the world. Infertility is a common problem, and you your happiness need not be tied to the state of your organs.

Well, if you don't know what that is, why didn't you ask your doctor that instead of just saying, "oh, ok"
