I was sooo anxious to take my test that I didn't even have to pee when I did it. So it just barely dribbled on the stick. It was enough to get it completely wet. But I didn't do it in the morning like some say that you should do. I am 4 days late on my period. I'm never late! Always exactly 27 days! What should I do?

When you are very early into the pregnancy first morning urine is indeed the best urine to test because it contains the highest amount of hcg you need to test, if you are pregnant. The hcg hormone duplicates every other day so I would BE PATIENT and I would test again tomorrow or in two more days. Good luck.

You should take another test but wait another day. It is possible that there was not enough urine to detect accurately. Try EPT or First Response. Since you are four days late you should be able to test and get an accurate response. And it doesn't really matter when you take it but try it in the morning the next time.

Wait 2 days untill the HGC level doubles pee in a cup with your first morning, then dip the test in it. You wont have to worry that way about it not getting wet enough. Good luck!

Take another test and wait until you really have to pee or if possible until tomorrow morning with your first urination of the day.

4 years ago I took a test during the middle of the day right when my period was due and it came back positive. I didn't believe it so I took another one right after I could only pee one drop and that one drop was still positive.

i did mine in the middle of the day but u have to wet it properly, i say try it again, and mine came positive and i was olny 4 days late, the positive came up in like 5 seconds

The pregnancy hormone may not have been strong enough to be detected.
