did the person not pay rent or had they not been at your home for a certain amount of time? if so then you probably can't get arrested or charged with anything, that's considered abandonment.... otherwise, it's hard to tell....

More information is needed. Were they renters on your property and they stopped paying rent? Was is some stuff in your back yard that belonged to a friend? Something left behind in your house that you didn't want anymore?
