STREET LIGHTS DO TURN OFF BY THEMSELVES
When the fluorescent bulb in a streetlight gets old, it overheats and trips a safety switch. When it cools off, it turns itself back on again. Some streetlights turn on and off by themselves every few minutes. Also, some towns install timers which cause all streetlights to turn off randomly every few minutes. This saves energy, but since the timers are not synchronized, some lights stay on while others are off.
Beware, it's easy to fool yourself into thinking that you have a mysterious effect on streetlights. If you see a streetlight turn on or off, that's not unusual. It happens all the time. It's only unusual if whole chains of street lights turn off in sequence as you pass, or if you see the streetlights only turn off but never see an equal number turn back on. It's also unusual if the streetlights often turn off NOT as you approach or leave, but instead they only turn off while you are passing directly underneath (ie. when you are closest to them.)
Check out this website I found on your question.....pretty neat !!

The lights that they use for highway lamps are packed with gasoline. As they get previous the gasoline will cool and settle, and the mild will bypass out. Then the gasoline will reignite and it's going to come decrease back on for awhile till the gasoline settles back. My wager is that city you stay in needs to regulate many of the mild bulbs. Did you word that it doesnt ensue with conventional loved ones lamps? the clarification it sort of feels to ensue each and each and every of the time, and be more suitable than twist of destiny to you is it likely does. What you dont understand is that it takes position to all those who's strolling by employing the lamps, and has no longer something to do with easily strolling by employing or being close to the lamps. that's only a twist of destiny. the actual incontrovertible truth that you're searching for this phenomena to ensue, and that you want to trust you're part of something magical creates what's usually used as confimation bias. You remember the circumstances it takes position and dont pay interest even as it doesnt ensue. there is not any such element as a slider. that's only a theory used to promote books by employing convincing human beings they're part of something particular, even as in truth they're only gazing person-pleasant established issues. In end, its all on your mind's eye.

Such phenomena has been reported and has been attributed to the individual possessing a strong Electromagnetic field. This was more evident in cases where there was poor insulation and low height of the lights.

They are saluting your presence.
Yes, they do it for me too.
There is a statistical explanation, but essentially it depends on our special ability to see patterns in chaos--seeing rabbits in the cloud formations.
And it fits into the category of a tree falling in the forest with no one there to witness it, except in this case, the tree can get up again.

I read about this. You have an abnormal amount of radiation and the lights are reacting to this. Just kidding. It sounded good though.

haha, no even though it may seem like they go out when you walk by them they dont, they are powered by halogen bulbs, and rather large ones at that, that will occasionally overheat and shut off until they have cooled down
