I thought Nano and Video both ran on the same software, so it doesn't make sense to me that it would only work with the Nano? Has anyone tried it with the iPod Video? Seems really foolish for Apple to limit it to the iPod Nano, because everyone with the Video is screwed if they want this product! Who knows the answer???

It will not work with the iPod Video. The Nano and Video run different firmware (as evidenced by one playing videos, one not). Perhaps its a way for Apple to sell more Nanos, since I would assume they sell more full-size iPods. It creates a better niche for the Nano. Also, the iPod is too big for running.

Apple made sure it would ONLY work on the Nano.

Since the nano is geared towards running and such, the Nike attachment is focused on the nano at this time. If you wait a month or two, there will be an aftermarket patch/attachment for it.

The 8GB Nano is about the same cost because the 30GB video, simply by the indisputable fact that is about a million/fifth the burden and reduce than a million/4 the dimensions of the 30GB unit. The technologies to make an 8GB unit this length is extra expensive. also, the 8GB has about 20 hours battery existence compared to eight hours with the video 30GB unit.
