I'm debating dropping Equity for the fall semester. Should I take it?

It depends. Are you talking undergraduate or in law school. If undergraduate, only take it if you are interested. Law schools look less at what you took than how you did.

If you are talking about in law school, some considerations are - what year are you in? is it a bar elective in your state? is it something you are interested in? do you have any other electives you will enjoy instead.

Myself, I just took classes toward what I wanted to do and left the bar electives to my bar review class (and I got lucky).

I think bar electives are a good idea if it is one in your state. BUT - also consider it in light of your other classes, depending on your year, it may be one of several classes you can pick from or it may be your only elective.

Bottom line, enjoy your time in school, learning what interests you. If you do, then you generally don't mind having to cram in the rest.

Good Luck! (if you need more info, email me.)

If your state tests on equity (some do... especially if they use the MEE as part of the bar exam), don't drop it.
