Because you don't want to be that uncle that never has a job and just sits on the back patio and smokes crack and drinks Scope.

Because life outside of school is tough and nobody will give a damn about you. With an education, you will have choices and income to get and do what you want. Without an education, you will have very few choices, work hard for others that stayed in school and get paid a lot less than ones with even a high school education. Think of it this way: Being a pilot and flying for an airline - any airline, even hauling the mail - you can make over one million dollars in your life time - 20 years or there about. Being a doctor, you will work hard and have two to four days off per week and make several times a pilot in your lifetime. Same if you become a lawyer. But if you become a company president, you can make that money in one year for many years and retire with millions in bonuses. Or you can drop out of school and make minimum wage - what $5 per hour - and work for a doctor as a janitor or work at Micky D's. Your choice now and if you don't make the right one you will not have choices later.

first figure out "why" your sick of school... *be honest* is it too hard? (you might have missed some steps earlier and now its becoming confusing)
no friends?
tired of having adults telling you what to do?

what would you do instead? what job could you do?(which would involve learning something new ((and lets hope you have the building blocks to learn it)) a job also means learning how to work as a team (uhm learning to play nice ) and listening to bosses hmm jobs are kinda like still being in school :)

back to the question? when in most places its a law that you are "given" the opportunity to learn and grown (mature with your peers) years ago it was not a right BUT a privilege. believe it or not (unless your struggling in learning) this will be the time you look back on with happiness

I don't like school that much, But HELLO it's hard getting a job that can support you in that future. Also Employers will ALWAYS PICK the ppl with a higher education.also even the military will not except you without a education behind your butt. Also those that don't get through school are causing problems in the working class. Plus if you want a guy that you like and he sees that you are a drop out he will not date or marry you if you want a high class guy. In addition, if you want to buy all your LUXURIES would you like to be in DEBT or would you like to GET them without any debts. Also I'm 16 going on 17 believe me if you want most of your college payed for you must do well in school or you'll be working at a dinner FOREVER, FOREVER, FOREVER, I guarantee you that. I hope this has encouraged you in staying in school.

The law says kids have to have an education.

Is it because you are bored? Or just lazy?

If bored, do stuff on your own, projects, about your fave subjects. Find out what interests you and focus on those subjects. You must keep up with your maths, english and science. Don't think that school is everything, you can enjoy learning by yourself.

Talk to your parents, are they willing to home teach you? Or pay for home tutors?

Hey! lol That is a normal question for kids your age to ask really who wants to go to school. But think about it if you don't go to school think about where you are going to be in the future how are you going to get the job of your life if you don't go to school. You would be lost and confused and you would regret it believe me I have seen it happen many of times. So I know school isn't fun but make the best of it while you can. So stay in school lol

Edu-muh-cation is the number one key to having a successful life. If you want to live in a Panasonic branded box and have to look stupid holding a sign asking for money then go ahead be a 5th grade dropout (you cant anyways). Your 11 and going through that damn phase. I'm sure if our president can go to school you can.

you need to go to school, so you can actually have a good. Life no one is going to want to hire someone that never graduated highschool. Also it's against the law not to go to school. And no im not a stupid parent lecturing you, im 14! Im guessing one of your goals in life is to become a hobo that society looks down upon!
