I will soon be getting married and wandered if I should tell and invite my family? See everytime my family gets together there's always some mess and a lot of them I don't really care for but I love them because they are family. I am like the youngest left and both of my parents are gone on and they on the flip side used to worry about my happiness and being alone. But here lately they always put everything down that I do (which for the most part are positive things) and say that I think I'm better than everybody else. But I don't feel that way but since I don't date a family friend anymore they don't let me bring my new guy around because the family friend may be there and all that. Just like I said it's always something...but I would feel bad if I really didn't invite them or tell them. A little confused about this...what do I do?

What makes you happy. If it makes you happy to keep them away do it. If it is going to cause problems leave it alone and enjoy YOUR day not theirs. Hope all turns out the way you want it to.

If you don't need their permission, tell them, they may want to be a part. if they complain, get married on your own. Good luck!!!
